A Central Valley Contractor’s Next Chapter

Bill Nelson General Engineering has been part of the Central Valley construction industry for more than three decades, specializing in general engineering and infrastructure work including underground utilities, water and sewer systems, excavation, drainage and related public works projects.

During that time, the Fresno-based company has worked on infrastructure projects for municipalities and public agencies throughout the region.

With Nelson’s retirement, the Oct. 30 auction marks both the conclusion of a long career in Central Valley construction and an opportunity for other contractors to put the company’s equipment back to work.

Jeff Huber, Marketing Director of Bar None Auction remarked: “Retirement auctions like this are special because buyers have an opportunity to acquire equipment directly from an established working contractor who relied on that equipment to run their business. Mr. Nelson built a respected company over many years, and we’re honored that he has entrusted Bar None Auction with conducting his retirement sale and finding the next owners for this equipment.”
